As the most comprehensive way of aid modes, student loans plays an irreplaceable role in improving participation rate of higher education and expanding the entrance opportunity, its "financial aid:function is obvious. However, as a special form of education resources, its "education incentive" function is seldom be mentioned. On the one hand, some research has suggested that the academic performance of education receiver is closely related to wage discrepancy, on the other hand, China's economy.which in the strategic transformation and upgrading, is in urgent need of high quality talents.Hence, to discuss the student loans influence on college students'academic performance is significant to poor student that holding the dream of "knowledge change destiny" as well as to the whole country. This paper collected the questionnaire survey data from 24 universities nationwide, discusses student loans influence on college student's academic performance in China. Evaluated the influence of student loans on impoverished college students'average course score and the working time after class by using the difference in differences method and regression models respectively for twice. Then by means of variance analysis, explores the influence of student loans on general sense of self-efficacy of students who secure a loan.Combined with empirical analysis and theory discussion, this paper found that student loan has increased their enthusiasm in study by significantly reducing the students extracurricular working time, then, to improve the average course grade of students who secure a loan.Get a student loan or not have no significant influence on general sense of self-efficacy to poor students, but the general sense of self-efficacy of impoverished students were significantly lower than the non-impoverished students.Based on the above analysis, this paper further discussed the educational effect of student loan policy in our country, the results show that the student loans policy of our country lacks the terms that directly linked to academic performance, and the dominant educational effect of student loans policy is not obvious, the effect of policy for education mainly reflected by implicit way. Finally, this paper put forward some suggestions from two aspects to perfect the student loan policy of our country,on one hand, the student loan policy in our country should gradually establish the dominant restraint and incentive mechanism;on the other hand, to meet the varied lending demand, the flexibility of lending policies should be enhanced. and strengthen its recessive educational effect.
