Research into the "Ant Tribe" has gradually gotten more and more attention from scholars. As a representation of the living conditions of a large group of Chinese intellectuals, the social mobility of the "Ant Tribe" often represents the survival conditions of college graduates in the society.Social capital plays a definite role in the social mobility of the "Ant Tribe". Centred on the " Ant Tribe " is the acquisition of or building of networks of social relations embedded in resources for their self-induced social capital. "Ant Tribe" is for "Ant Tribe", part of the reason being that the ascribed social capital has an innate weakness, it cannot provide effective help for them in social status, and access to social mobility. Because the self-induced social capital of the "Ant Tribe" is not the same for every individual, each has a different one. Depending on its own character, personality factors, psychological condition and their occupational status and degree of social relations network expansion, etc.In all phases of socialization, consciously cultivating and building their own social relations can effectively increase the social capital embedded in social relationship, in order to better achieve the smooth general characteristic of social mobility. But there is need to pay attention to social capital regarding the "Ant Tribe" if the social mobility has both positive function and negative function, on the premises that are not contrary to the values of social justice.
