| The citizenship education is one of the basic contents of the modern ideological and political education and has become a major concern in education in recent years. The report of the 17th National Congress of the CPC explicitly requires, "Strengthening civic awareness education, foster the concepts of democracy and the rule of law, freedom and equality, equity and justice." Explicit proposal to carry out the education of citizen awareness in China. Include the education of citizen awareness in the national development objectives. As men to realize the Chinese dream, the college students' civil consciousness will directly affect the development of society as a whole. So it has important theoretical and practical significance undoubtedly to research on existing problems and countermeasures of college students' civil consciousness education as well as strengthening college students' ideological and political education and the cultivation of civic awareness.This paper focuses on the main line of college students' civil consciousness education, the socialist core values is to lead. In order to gain a better understanding of the current college students' civic awareness, through the use of questionnaires and interviews to collect data to master the current situation of college students' awareness of existing problems, and analysis of the reasons behind the problem objectively. After finding the cause of the problem, got to practice the socialism core values and the reality of ideological and political education in colleges and universities development needs. The construction of college students' civic awareness education system in five aspects, identity education, humanitarian and human rights education, ethics and responsibility education, democracy and the rule of law education and environmental and ecological education. Finally, for the implementation of college students' civic awareness education and put forward the feasible paths. |
