The Analysis Of Canadian Special Administrative Region Form The View Of State Construction

After the birth of National State,the National Construction is a lasting issue,no matter what stage it is,and is faced with the task of National Construction.Although every country's National Construction has its feature,there is no denying that they have in common sometimes,which people can use for reference and explore together.The Nunavut Special Administrative Region was the adjustment of administrative division after the establishment of Canada;which was the result of the Inuit negotiated with Federal Government and Northwest Government nearly thirty years,which is a democratic and peaceful method;and the result of aborigines' legal battle.The thesis considers that Nunavut's construction is the outcome of the process of Canadian National Construction,and it promoted the development of Canadian National Construction to some extent.The exploration of Nunavut's construction is somewhat helpful to the people who seek for the better construction.My thesis try to explore the special administrative region from the point of National Construction,and explore it how to construct:from the contributing factors,the construction course,the legality of construction,the all features and its influence.The aim is to present the construction of the special administrative region for people.The paper uses the History of Literature and case analysis to study Nunavut's construction.All the thesis has five parts:The first part shows that the state-building and nation-building produce Nunavut,the external political construction provided the firm foundation of institution the establishment of Nunavut,but also the internal nation-building pushed the development of Nunavut.The second part shows a further analysis of the process:Nunavut is the product of people's hard work,including the institutional choice,system design,institution perfection and the promotion of the national construction's process The third part is the analysis of construction of legitimacy,the forth part shows the particularity of state-building of Nunavut.The fifth part is the further analysis of its significance and confronting challenges.Nunavut is the outcome of state-building and nation-building.The establishment of special administrative region-Nunavut made the aboriginal regain the rights,increased the Regional identity and National identity.At the end,they realized they were Canadians.The tolerance differences and equality admitted of federalism and the multiculturalism provided the superior conditions for the foundation of national construction of Nunavut,and the aboriginal's autonomous tradition pushed the development.The establishment of Nunavut embodies the Canadian state-building's success factors,so that it worth exploring.As the arctic region is attracted more attention by people,the position of the Special Administrative Region-Nunavut is more and more important.
