Shanxi Province Rural Left-behind Women's Political Participation In Research

The speeding up of urbanization, need a lot of labor to meet the urban infrastructure construction, rural rich labor resources for the development of urbanization provides powerful support power. Rural the development of male workers for their families and themselves, are added to the urbanization. A lot of men out of the labor force, makes our country rural areas have emerged a group of special and large groups, left-behind women.Alone because her husband to go out for a long time to be workers, women in the remaining for production and life affairs, make left-behind women accumulated certain family status, increase the talent, establish confidence of life. Today, in rural areas of agriculture feminization, left-behind women has become an important force in the village affairs management and decision making. Only let more left-behind women involved in the rural grassroots democratic political construction, can we make decision-making more scientific and democratic government.Shanxi special landform condition, compared with the eastern coastal areas, slow economic development speed, less affected by the different cultures outside and the restriction of factors such as the development of the transportation industry is relatively backward, seriously hindering the improvement of quality of the rural left-behind women's political participation.In this paper,10 village in Shanxi Province of left-behind women questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation, we can find that:due to the more and more poverty alleviation in rural areas, strengthen the construction of rural grassroots democracy, make the left-behind women's political participation and motivation significantly high, political participation consciousness increase, gradually began to care about the affairs of state and village affairs, on the whole rural grassroots democratic political construction made some gratifying achievements.
