Carbon therapy and proton therapy has showed great advantage in radiotherapy after years of development.China-made proton and carbon therapy equipment is in establishing demonstration unit,and the future development of this equipment is tremendous.Based on advanced medical imaging equipment,the tumor can be accurate treatment.But,due to the different of particle therapy and traditional photon therapy,as well as the uncertainty in the process of treatment can lead to errors.In beam positron emission tomography(In-beam PET)imaging of proton and carbon radiotherapy can online monitoring dose range and distribution,get real-time results,so it can evaluate radiotherapy plan in time,ensure the accuracy of radiotherapy.In this paper,to complete the In-beam PET system simulation based on the GATE software,get the reconstructed image in treatment time,result shows it can evaluate treatment plan and actual treatment well.In this article,the proton beam and carbon ion beam of three different energy irradiation polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)target,choose the appropriate beam cycle and intensity,and then use the Siemens MicroPET to measure imaging data,at last use the 3d reconstruction algorithm to reconstruct the imaging.Due to the In-beam PET process is one side treatment measure again,and there are a lot of instant radiation,so the PET can only measure in the beam intermittent time.The whole simulation process is divided into two steps,the first step to simulate particles treatment;The second step simulation PET measurement,until the end of the treatment process.Through the analysis of the positron nuclide distribution and dose deposition in target,with data fitting method to determine the relationship between them.Selected each point in-beam PET image to analysis in particles treatment,using the above relations,it can be predicted the dose of the location and distribution in a short time,and achieved good results.
