Objective To understand the current status of compliance of CHB patients to NAs treatment(refer to "compliance" later)within the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University,to study the difference in compliance between Hui and Han people,to estimate the possible impact of other relating factors on the compliance, and thus,to propose viable interventions in order to improve the compliance.Method 600 CHB patients who were taking NAs treatment during May 2017 to December 2017 at in-patient and out-patient of Department of Infectious Disease,General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, were selected to take an on-site optimized questionnaire survey.Questions regarding to demographics(age, sex, race, marital status, home location, education, ccupation, average monthly income, medical investment, initial symptoms, duration of NAs treatment),family history of CHB,daily schedule, physical activity, compliace, knowledge about hepatitis B,health belief, and social support were included in this questionnaire.Effects of the factors on the compliance were further analysis.Result Amongst the 600 subjects,334(55.7%)subjects were with good compliance, whereas 266(44.3%)subjects were with poor compliance.Single factor analysis indicates that 14 out of the factors are significantly related to the difference in compliance between the two compliance groups.Further Logistic regression indicates that Race(OR=0.213),Medical investment(OR=0.478),Duration of the NAs treatment(OR=1.722),Physical activity(OR=2.71),Social support(OR=0.714),Knowledge of the outcome of incompliance(OR=0.559),and Self-efficacy(OR=0.064)are the factors that could independently affect the compliance of CHB patients to NAs treatment. Conclusion The compliance of CHB patients to NAs treatment within the province is55.7%,which is slightly above the average in China(55.7% vs 45%).The compliance can be affected by multiple factors, based on which intervention could be applied to improve the compliance.
