| Objective: Making non-living models of spinal tuberculosis with caseous lesions,to explore the removal range by the Full-endoscopic technique in the model, and to provide reference for experimental study and choice of clinical treatment in spinal tuberculosis. Methods: Three porcine lumbar vertebrae spine specimens containing skin and soft tissue were used to fully remove the cancellous bone in two different vertebral body of each specimen, the model of spinal tuberculosis with caseous lesions was prepared by filling the simulated lesions prepared with flour and iohexol. After position by the C-arm,implanting channels,Full-endoscopy was used to carry out the largest range of simulated lesion removal on the spine specimens.Based on the CT scan data of the spine model, consecutive tomographic images were imported into the Mimics software, the thresholds were set to extract the spine contour, and the magnetic lasso function was used to pick up the cleared range of the outline,three-dimensional reconstruction, the range of long, width, height and volume being measurement by the finite element analysis software. Results: The physical properties of the spinal tuberculosis with caseous lesions model prepared from flour combined with iohexol has a certain degree of toughness and moderate viscosity, can be captured by the nucleus pulposus,at the time of continuous infusion of saline, there was no significant loss in the simulation of Full-endoscopic surgery and it could be well imaged under imaging examination. It is similar to the caseous necrotic tissue caused by spinal tuberculosis infection. After removal of the lesions, the maximum range of long, width, height and volume removed in the six cases by Full-endoscopic was(22.57±1.48)mm,(21.78±1.15)mm,(21.48±0.67)mm,(4296.30±172.01)mm3 respectively. Conclusion: The physical characteristics of caseous lesion of spinal tuberculosis can be roughly simulated by flour and iodohexo,it provides reference for experimental on spinal tuberculosis. The maximum range of the six cases removed by Full-endoscopic was(22.57±1.48)mm,(21.78±1.15)mm,(21.48±0.67)mm,(4296.30±172.01)mm3 respectively.Clinically, patients with spinal tuberculosis whose lesion size within this range can select surgical methods with reference to the results. It provides a preliminary reference for the experimental study and the choice of clinical treatment by the Full-endoscopy on spinal tuberculosis. |
