Hemiplegia means patients’ physical movement decreased or completely paralyzed.According to medical research found that rehabilitation training can help patients recover, due to the remodeling of the brain, patients after rehabilitation training can recovery the most functions of the body.Hemiplegia patients with long-term rehabilitation training, can improve the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases caused by dysfunction.According to the theory of neurological rehabilitation, the active motor consciousness and autonomic exercise control in the training process are of great significance to the recovery of neurological function. As a new human-computer interaction technology, virtual reality technology using the computer and the corresponding application software, creates a virtual reality environment and makes the users immerse in the virtual environment. The application of virtual reality technology to rehabilitation training enables patients to perform mission-oriented day-to-day activities with virtual environments, and to motivate patients with hemiplegia by repeated training. In this paper, human upper limb kinematics has been analysed and the HTC VIVE based virtual reality system has been developed for which patients with a certain degree of exercise capacity.First of all, starting from the research of human upper limb structure, the human upper limb kinematics, the upper extremity work space modeling and simulation. Then analyzes the virtual reality technology, and studies the positioning principle of HTC VIVE.And then use the Unreal Engine 4 engine designed based on HTC VIVE upper limb rehabilitation training program.Patients without external support or external skeletal rehabilitation robot, rehabilitation training, psychological treatment, information feedback, through the HTC VIVE handheld controller and virtual scenes for human-computer interaction,to achieve the upper limb on the virtual reality Control of objects in the scene.Experiments show that the use of this HTC VIVE and virtual realityscenes for upper limb rehabilitation training to achieve the desired results, while the task-driven training methods to improve the patient’s training enthusiasm. |
