Objective:To explore the correlation of carotid-femoral Pulse Wave Velocity,Arterial local Stiffness and cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD).Methods:Brain MRI examination accords with the diagnostic criteria of small cerebral vascular disease in2015.A total of 100 patients were included in the case group, this group of patients is older than 50 years old, less than 83 years old;The brain MRI results showed that 100normal cases were included in control group, and the age is matched with the case group(age plus and minus 3),The case group includes 51 males and 49 females,age50-83,Averageage(68.93±9.28)years of age;The control group includes 50 males and 50females with having high blood pressure or diabetes or dizziness or headache or epileptic seizures or extremities,Age50-83,Averageage(66.29±9.28)years of age.General information was collected and carotid-femoral Pulse Wave Velocity was teseted,Arterial Stiffness was teseted by calculating aortic distensibility(AD).cfPWV and AD of the two groups of patients were analyzed with t/?~2,Compare cfPWV and AD and other cardiovascular risk factors, use Logistic regression models to assess the association between Compare cfPWV and AD and CSVD.Results:carotid-femoralPulse Wave Velocity 1evels are associatcd with presisted of cerebral small Vessel disease(OR=1.117)and aortic distensibilities are associatcd with presisted of cerebral small Vessel disease(OR=0.201),these associations persisted after adjustment for cardioVascular risk factors,The differences between the two groups are statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Cerebral small vessel disease can be predicted by pulse wave and local stiffness of the aorta.
