Objective: To study the effects of body mass index on luteinizing hormone in gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist test in girls with central precocious puberty and the relationship between different development indexes in central precocious puberty staging with breast.Method: we collected 130 girls with central precocious puberty who underwent the gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist test between December of 2013 and December of 2016 in xinjiang medical university first affiliate hospital. They were classified into three groups:normalweight(n=65),overweight(n=39)and obesity(n=29),according to body mass index. To research groups of BMI and peak level of luteinizing hormone in gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist test and the relationship between different development indexes in central precocious puberty staging with breast. Results: According with BMI groups, the difference of each group on average diagnostic age has no statistical significance(p > 0.05),bone age and volume of the uterus in obesity group were higher than overweight and normal weight group(p < 0.017),BMI and peak level of luteinizing hormone in GnRH stimulation test had postive correlation(r = 0.263).There was no statistically significant difference in the basic level of luteinizing hormone according with breast development stage(p> 0.05).The period of Tanner2 and Tanner4,peak level of luteinizing hormone in GnRH stimulation test had statistically significant(p < 0.05),and the phase of Tanner2 peak level of LH had positively correlated with BMI(r = 0.416),the period of Tanner3 and Tanner4 peak level of LH in GnRH stimulation test had no statistical significance with BMI(p > 0.05).Conclusion: It is necessary to consider the effects of BMI on the peak level of LH in the GnRH stimulation test in girls with central precocious puberty.Obesity may be a risk factor for central precocious puberty. |
