Clinical Study Of Abdominal Acupuncture Combined With Local Acupuncture Treatment Of Idiopathic Tinnitus With Asthenia Syndrome

Objective:By observing and comparing the clinical effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture and conventional acupuncture therapy on idiopathic tinnitus(asthenia syndrome),to evaluate the clinical application value of abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture.By exploring its mechanism of action,to provide theoretical and clinical basis for the promotion of the therapy used in the treatment of tinnitus,and to explore a more effective and simple method for the treatment of tinnitus.Method:This study was conducted from October 2016 to January 2018,from the idiopathic tinnitus patients treated in the outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion department in Hubei Provincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital,to select 60 patients who met the requirements of inclusion and exclusion criteria,they were randomly divided into abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture group and conventional acupuncture group.Abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture group acupoints:Zhongwan,Xiawan,Qihai,Guanyuan,Huaroumen(bilateral),D aheng(bilateral),Shangqu(bilateral),Qixue(bilateral),Yindu(ipsilateral);Tinggong(ipsilateral),Yifeng(ipsilateral),Shuaigu(ipsi lateral).Conventional acupuncture group acupoints:Tinggong(ips ilateral),Yifeng(ipsilateral),Shuaigu(ipsilateral),Baihui,Hegu(bilateral),Taichong(bilateral),the spleen and stomach weakness type combined with Pishu(bilateral),Zusanli(bilateral),Sanyinjia o(bilateral),the kidney deficiency type combined with Shenshu(bilateral),Sanyinjiao(bilateral),Taixi(bilateral).Both of the two groups retainded needle for 30 min every time,the treatment was to go once every other day,6 times for a course,the efficacy was compared after 3 courses of treatment.Due to the abscission of cases during treatment,acutually,each group observed 29 cases.The score of the severity of tinnitus,the THI score,and the HAMA score were recorded respectively before treatment and at the end of 3 courses of treatment,to make further statistical analysis of various indicators before and after treatment,and then evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two therapy.Results:1.The severity of tinnitus: There was a significant difference in the two groups on the severity score of tinnitus before and after the treatment,P<0.01;and the difference in the severity score of tinnitus bewteen the two groups was statistically significant after treatment,P<0.05.2.The condition of tinnitus disability: The comparison of the THI score in the two groups was statistically significant before and after treatment,P < 0.01;and there was a statistical significant difference between the two groups in the THI score after treatment,P<0.05.3.The situation of anxiety: There was a significant statistical difference on the comparison of the HAMA score in the two groups before and after treatment,P<0.01;and the comparison of the HAMA score between the two groups was statistically significant after treatment,P<0.05.4.The comparison of clinical efficacy: After the treatment in both groups,the total effective rate of abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture group was 89.66%,and the total effective rate of conventional acupuncture group was 75.86%,there was statistical difference between the two groups in clinical efficacy by rank sum test,P<0.05.Conclusion:1.For the treatment of idiopathic tinnitus(asthenia syndrome),abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy are both effective in improving the severity of tinnitus,the degree of tinnitus disability,and anxiety symptoms.2.The efficacy of abdominal acupuncture combined with local acupuncture on the treatment of idiopathic tinnitus(asthenia syndrome)is obviously better than conventional acupuncture therapy.Through clinical observation,it has been found that,this therapy also has a certain adjuvant effect on other diseases or discomforts accompaning the patients while treating tinnitus,and it has the characteristics and advantages of simple and normative operation,high security and repeatability,and wide indications.Therefore,this therapy is worth of clinical promotion and application.
