| Objects:The objects of present study,used ECG to compare the influences of Radix Arnebiae on atrial fibrillation(AF)induction-rate and duration time in rats,and echocardiography to investigate the intervention of Radix Arnebiae on heart function and structural reconstruction in AF rats,and immunohistochemistry to observe the reverse the level of fibrosis in AF rats.The effects should be functioned by the inhibition of the myocardial fibrosis.Based on the above,we systematically evaluated the the protective effects of Radix Arnebiae in AF rats.Methods:The SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:the normal control group(CK group),the Radix Arnebiae treatment group(RA group),the positive control group(Ami group)and the atrial fibrillation model group(AFgroup).At first,all groups of rats beside CK were injected by acetylcholine-calcium chloride solution through iv to induced AF.7 days later,the limb lead electrocardiogram(ECG)was used to detect the induction rate and duration time in rats to evaluate the success-rate of AF model in rats.Subsequently,RA group was administered by Radix Arnebiae soup through po for 1 week,Ami group was administered amiodarone through po for 1 week.Finally,the latent period and duration of atrial fibrillation were recorded by the ECG.At the same time,the LAD,LA area,LVDD,LVDS and EF were measured by echocardiography.At last,the degree of atrial fibrosis was evaluated by Masson staining.Results:1.Radix Arnebiae shortened the duration time of atrial fibrillation and decreased the incidence rate in AF rats;2.Radix Arnebiae inhibited the enlargement of atrium and ventricle in AF rats;3.Radix Arnebiae improved atrial fibrosis in AF rats.Conclusions:1.The positive effects of Radix Arnebiae on atrial fibrillation model rats are certain;2.Radix Arnebiae can inhibit atrial and ventricular enlargement in atrial fibrillation model rats;3.The protective effects of Radix Arnebiae on atrial enlargement in AF rats may be related to the inhibition of the atrial fibrosis. |
