Objective: This study is objective to investigate the features and quality of life of new pneumoconiosis cases in Hengyang and explore the influencing factors of quality of life,provide reference for prevention and rehabilitation of pneumoconiosis.Methods: Collection of report card and Clinical examination data of new pneumoconiosis in Hengyang,2011-2015.To investigate the quality of life of new pneumoconiosis cases by questionnaire survey,our questionnaire included quality of life scale and general demographic information.All data entry EXCEL2007,with SPSS18.0 for statistical analysis.Results:1.A total of 522 cases of new pneumoconiosis were collected,including 406 cases of coal worker’s pneumoconiosis,115 cases of silicosis and 1 weldor Coal workers pneumoconiosis cases all concentrated in coal mining and washing industry(86.21%),Small enterprise(91.63%)and private enterprise(82.02%);78.81% of the patients work mainly for coal mining.Silicosis cases were mainly concentrated in Non ferrous metal mining industry(45.22%),medium sized enterprises(40%)and state-owned enterprises(67.83%).There were significant differences in the distribution of cases(P<0.05).2.229 patients with stage I,146 patients with stage two,and 147 patients with stage three.Average exposure to dust was(15.33±8.98)years and average age of onset was(55.34±7.46)years in Silicosis cases;Average exposure to dust was(18.50±8.90)years and average age of onset was(50.77±6.67)years in Coal workers pneumoconiosis cases.Both dust exposure time and onset ages have significant differences in the two types of pneumoconiosis patients(P<0.05).3.The rate of silicosis complicated with tuberculosis was 16.5%,and Coal workers pneumoconiosis cases was 9.6%;The incidence of tuberculosis in each stage was 6.6%,12.3%,and 17%。Both them have significant differences(P<0.05).With the dust exposure time and the onset age increase gradually,the injury degree of pulmonary function has increasing trend.4.A total of 336 cases received the questionnaire survey and 312 valid questionnaires(98.86%);54.17% of cases for primary or illiterate,80.4% of cases from the countryside,28.21% of cases were unmarried,divorced or widowed,65.06% from private enterprises.The average score of four areas of quality of life was less than 12 points(total score of 20 points)and below the level of the general population.The combination of tuberculosis and bad marital status had a negative impact on the physical and psychological fields;Patients with higher educational background scored better than those with lower education in Psychological field;Patients in state-owned enterprises is better than that of private enterprises in all fields.5.The illness stages,BMI value and family function score were entered into the physiological domain regression equation(P<0.01);Social support level,activities of daily living and illness stages were entered into the psychological domain regression equation(P<0.01);Social support level,activities of daily living were entered into the social domain regression equation(P<0.01);activities of daily living,Social support level were entered into the social domain regression equation(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.New pneumoconiosis cases mainly include coal workers pneumoconiosis and silicosis,there were significant differences in the distribution of the two types of pneumoconiosis patients.2.56% of the patients were diagnosed as more than two stages,failure to achieve early detection,early diagnosis,early treatment.3.There are obvious negative effects on the quality of life of the patients with pulmonary tuberculosis,low education level,poor living conditions,poor compensation for work-related injury insurance,poor marital status and so on.4.The score of four domains of quality of life were less than the total score of 60%(20 points).The ability of daily living,social support,family function and body mass index of new pneumoconiosis cases were not ideal and have obvious negative influences on their quality of life.
