Objective : To study the parental presence on the effectiveness of perioperative anesthesia nursing care in children with cleft lip and palate.Methods: 120 children with cleft lip and palate were included in our study and divided randomly into two groups.Group P with parental presence and group N without parents accompanying.We recorded the blood pressure,heart rate,oxygen desaturation in anesthesia induction and awake period,together with degree of adaptability,delirium and complications.Results: In both the anesthesia induction and awake period,children with parental presence have a more stable heart rate,oxygen desaturation and a better degree of adaptability,delirium and a reduction of complications.Conclusions: We concluded that,parental presencedoes have the effect of improving perioperative anesthesia nursing care in children with cleft lip and palate.Its clinical application is worth promoting.
