Recently,abundant compounds,have been isolated from the plants in genus Cynanchum,exhibited a variety of biological activities,such as anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,antioxidants,anti-epileptic,anticonvulsion,especially in anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor shows great promise.Therefore,more studies on Cynanchum genus may prove to be useful for the development and utilization of this genus,and also be valuable for looking for novel original anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor active compounds or new leading candidates.Besides plants in genus Celastru also showed excellent biological activities in anti-tumor.most of them are terpenoids,whose main active compounds are terpenoids.Therefore,to carry out research on the chemical composition of plantsingenus Celastru can lay the foundation for detection of novel original anti-tumor active compounds.All compounds were separated and purifyied from the plants by using several modern chromatographic separation technology such as silica gel column chromatography,reversed-phase column chromatography andpreparation of liquid chromatography.Their structures were elucidated based on spectra lanalysis including 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR.4 compounds were separated and purifyied from the root of Cynanchum inamoenum(Maxim.)Loes.Six of the structures were elucidated as:glaucoside A(R-1),Amplexicoside D(R-2),Amplexicoside B(R-3),Glaucoside-D(R-4).And all Compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.6 compounds were separated and purifyied from the root bark of Celastrus aculeatus Merrill.Their structures were elucidated as:celastrol(W-1)、pristimerin(W-2)、trans-hydroxycinnamoyl ester of lupeol(W-3)、1β-benzoyl,2β-benzoyl,6α-2-methyl-butyryl,9α-acetylβ-dihydroagarofurane(W-4)、polpunonic acid(W-5)and?-sitosterol(W-6).W-1、W-2 and W-5 were friedelane-type triterpenoids.W-3、W-4 and W-5 were isolated from this plant for the first time.
