Clinical Study Of Tieshi Flying Needle In Treatment With Peripheral Facial Palsy

Objective: We studied the clinical effect of Tieshi flying needle in treatment of peripheral facial palsy,by means of the self-comparison in routine group and flying needle group,and comparison between groups,Provide a new therapy for peripheral facial paralysis treatment.and open new method and train of thought for the treatment of migraine.Methods: 120 patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were randomly divided into routine group,flying needle group.Routine group were treated with needles and electric acupuncture apparatus,flying group treated with routine acupuncture and flying needle,All patients were treated for 3 weeks,and after 3weeks of treatment evaluate facial nerve function,Sunnybrook scores and safety。Results: in the whole course of treatment,a total of 12 patients were off,where in the conventional group 12,group 8 people flying,There was no statistically significant of the two groups on the Age,gender,disease duration.before treatment,two groups of patients with House-Brachmann stage comparable level and Sunnybrook scores(P>0.05),comparable;After treatment,the two groups of patients with House-Brachmann stages were improved(P<0.05),Flying group House-Brachmann stages were higher than routine group(P<0.05);After treatment,the two groups of patients with Sunnybrook scores were higher(P<0.05),Flying group Sunnybrook stage were higher than routine group(P<0.05),Flying group of clinical efficacy total effective rate was 90.38 %,significangtly higner than in control group 68.75%,a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Before and after treatment,safety indexs showed that no significantdifference in routine blood、 urine、stool,the liver and kidney function tests,conventional and acupuncture therapy is safe and effective.Case two groups of patients with adverse events was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: The Tieshi flying needle was efficacy in the treatment with peripheral facial palsy.By contrast with flying needle acupuncture and routine acupuncture,we found that Tieshi "flying" did well in improving facial nerve function.Besides,it is safety and effective,which is worth of improving.
