Observation On Curative Effect Of Self Made Prescription Rutongshu Treating Hyperplasia Of Mammary Glands With Stagnation Of Liver Qi

Breast hyperplasia is one of the most commongynecological diseases,featured by masses with various sizes and shapes,unclear boundary and mobile character after push force.Masses with shapes of piece,cord and these hybrid are often seen in patients with breast hyperplasia and the chief complaint of this disease is breast distending pain and tenderness.Breast hyperplasia,called "Rupi" in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has long been treated with TCM from the overallconcept,under the principle of syndrome differentiation and integrateddiagnostic method of four means,and relevant medicines of chinese medical formulary.This study is made to investigate "Ru Tong Shu" in Chinese,a kind of self designed TCM prescription used to treat Rupi of liver Qi stagnation,and observe the clinical efficacy of painalleviation,so as to provide a theoretical basis for furtherpromotion in clinical application of "Ru Tong Shu".In the clinical study,all 79 subjects were selected and divided randomly into two groups,with 40 cases in observation group and 39 cases in control group.Patients in the observation group were 31.36 ± 9.92 years old,with the shortest duration of 3 months,the longest 7 years while patients in the control group31.99±10.25years old,with the shortest duration of 3 months,the longest 9 years.No statistically significantdifference was found in gender,age,onset,duration,total symptom score,severity of disease between two groups before treatment(P>0.05),thus these indications were comparable between two groups.Patients were treated with Ru Tong Shu,self designed TCM prescription,in the observation group while patients with Xiaoyao Pill in the control group,and the treatment cycle of all patients was 2 menstrual cycles.Comparison was made in the improvement of breast pain,mass texture and the other indications to evaluate the effect of "Ru Tong Shu",self designed TCM prescription,in the treatment of Rupi of liver Qi stagnation.Results:9(22.5%)caseswerecured,13(32.5%)were improved remarkably,15(37.5%)improved and 3(7.5%)invalid in the observation group with 40 cases while 5(12.8%)caseswerecured,10(25.6%)were improved remarkably,16(41%)improved and 8(20.5%)invalid in the control group with39 cases.Survival analysis of the two groups before and after treatment mirrored that improvement in breast pain andmass texture in observation group better than that in control group(P<0.05).The total efficiency was 92.50%in the observation group and 79.5%in control group,so curative effect in observation group was higher that that in control group,with statistical significance.Conclusion:Ru Tong Shu,self designed TCM prescription has a significant effect in the treatment of Rupi of liver Qi stagnation,especially in the alleviation of breast pain,with less side effect.So Ru Tong Shu can be used and promoted in clinical situation.
