Resveratrol have ease and health function in the cardiovascular,diabetes and other diseases as a health care products,which is of great significance to study its physiological effects in the body.Polydatin and resveratrol have similar chemical structure and function.In order to research the existence of mutual transformation between them,we we fed resveratrol and polydatin to housefly larvae respectively,and the resveratrol and polydatin content in homogenate and hemolymph of Musca domestica were detected by high performance liquid chromatography,the results show that two substances resveratrol and polydatin exist.In order to exclude the effects of intestinal microflora on transformation,resveratrol and polydatin were added to Hela cell culture medium,and resveratrol and polydatin were also detected.This shows that resveratrol and polydatin in the housefly body can be transformed into each other without the intestinal microbial effects,and found that the high content of polydatin after the administration of resveratrol in the body,while after feeding polydatin the body of resveratrol content is higher.The antimicrobial activity of resveratrol was determined by the minimum inhibitory concentration.The results showed that resveratrol could inhibit the growth of some gram-positive and negative bacteria at a certain concentration,and had inhibitory effect on some fungi.But did not detect the antibacterial activity of polydatin.In addition,resveratrol was added to housefly fodder and found that resveratrol reduced the weight of housefly and delayed the pupation time.Nrf2 is a key factor in the oxidative stress response,and the Nrf2-ARE signaling pathway regulates the body’s antioxidant reaction under oxidative stress.In order to explore the antioxidant function of resveratrol,under UV irradiation,adriamycin and high temperature,the expression of MdNrf2 and the contents of MDA and ROS in the body were increased,indicating that UV irradiation,doxorubicin,High temperature stimulation can induce housefly to produce oxidative stress.When the expression of MdNrf2 was knocked down by RNAi technique,the contents of MDA and ROS increased in the body which indicated that MdNrf2 had an important role in maintaining the redox balance.In addition,we also tested the changes in the antioxidant capacity of the housefly after the administration of resveratrol when subjected the oxidative stress of ultraviolet radiation.The results showed that the contents of MDA and ROS and the expression of MdNrf2 in the housefly were significantly lower than those in the control group without resveratrol.It is speculated that resveratrol is associated with Nrf2 antioxidant pathway and exerts antioxidant function to protect housefly against oxidative stress injury. |
