| Objective: As a result of the bone density results,to compare clinical data and serum bio-chemical markers between osteoporosis patients and normal bone patients in the old people above 65 years old who live in Tianjin for more than 10 years.Through exploring the correlation and possible mechanisms of the risky factors for osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease, which can make contribution to the early diagnosis, early treatment of high-risk patients, and reduce future cardiovascular posibilities and mor-tality.Methods:(1)Choose old patients above 65 years old who have been livinge in Tianjin for more than 10 years and have been hospitalized in orthopedics or internal medicine ward of Tianjin Occupational Diseases Precaution and Therapeutic Hospital from June 2014 to December 2016.The average age of the 611 patients is 78.5±6.7 years, the grouped patients were measured bone density at L1-L4 and femoral neck, and morning blood pressure on the first day admitted to the hospital.Their genders, weights, ages, smoking habits, and the medical history period and past treatment of coronary heart disease, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, cerebrovascular accident, hyperlipidemia and heart failure in hospitalized medical records.Blood tests were also done to determine the liver and kidney function, blood lipids, blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin when admitted.(2)Single factor analysis was made with the clinical data, liver and kidney function and other biochemical results of the two grouped patients above. With osteoporosis as dependent variable, logistics regression analysis is made with smoking, body mass index(BMI),body weight, sex, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, uric acid(UA)serum homocysteine(HCY),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein(LDL),hemoglobin, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, serum uric acid and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and so on,to screen the risk factors associated independently with osteoporosis.(3)The date above is analyzed using SPSS17.0 as basic statistical tool.Continuous data was expressed by mean ± standard error, and examined by Student’s t-test(two-tailed).Categorical variables were expressed as percentages and analyzed by X2 test.△ P<0.05 is considered to be statistically significant.△ P<0.01 is considered to be significant.Logistic regression analysis is applied to the influencing factors of osteoporosis.Assuming inspection level a=0.05,△ P<0.05 is considered to be statistically significant.Results:(1)The grouped 611 patients, whose average age is 78.5±6.7 years, are divided into osteoporosis group(377 patients)and normal bone mass group(234 patients),according to the T value of bone mass density results.(2)In osteoporosis group LDL and HCY were significant than normal group(P<0.01).TG,UA and TC was slightly higher in osteoporosis group than normal bone mass group, however, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).HDL was a little lower, the difference of the result was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The difference of the result was statistically significant(P<0.05).Congestive heart failure in proportion in osteoporosis group was much higher than normal bone mass group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Diabetes,heart failure, stroke and the proportion in female OP group was slightly higher than male OP group, however, the difference was not significant(P>0.05).(3)Whether the old people will suffer from osteoporosis were introduced Binary Logistics model,HDL and weight risk factor in the elderly patients with osteoporosis.Whether suffering from osteoporosis were introduced Binary Logistic model, hypertension,CHD,female, hyperlipidemia, diabetes were major risk factors in the elderly patients with osteoporosis.Conculsions:(1)When people gets old,the significant risk increases in the osteoporosis in both men and women, women are particularly apparent.(2)Hyperlipidemia,smoking,coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes in proportion in osteoporosis group were higher than normal bone mass group. The difference is statistically significant, confirming that OP is hypertension.(3)Correlation analysis to osteoporosis showed that HDL,weight are protective factor for it: UA,LDL,TC are risk factors for it.Coronary heart disease is not only complications associated with osteoporosis.Even more than the traditional risk factors for example rlipidemia or hypertension, attention should be paid to it. |
