| Objective:Shanxi province is one of the areas that has a high incidence of cervical cancer.In this study,470 cases of cervical cancer was employed and divided into two groups to compare the difference in clinical efficacy of cervical cancer after different radiotherapy between three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy(3DCRT)and intensity modulated radiation therapy(IMRT).Methods:A retrospective analysis was made to analyze the clinical presentation between 3DCRT and IMRT from 470 cases of cervical cancer patients,who were treated in the top–A Hospital of taiyuan city in Shanxi Province form May 2012 to May 2015.SPSS17.0 was used for statistical analysis,including t test and chi-square test.The differences between 3DCRT and IMRT on the hematologic toxicity,oxidative damage,survival and recurrence rate,radioactive side reaction were compared.Results:In the 3DCRT,there were 71 cases(31.4%)of grade 1 toxicity,53 cases of grade 2 toxicity in 23.5% and 45 cases(31.4%)of grade 3 toxicity;In the IMRT group,there were 78 cases(31.9%)of grade 1 toxicity,62 cases(25.4%)of grade 2 toxicity,29 cases(11.9%)of grade 3 toxicity;No grade 4 toxicity was found in two groups,but there was significant difference on the grade 3 blood toxicity(P>0.05).With the survey of 470 cases of the confirmed cervical cancer,the results showed that the blood routine index including the red blood cell(RBC)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the IMRT group was significantly higher than the 3DCRT group(P<0.05),but the platelet(PLT)and white blood cells(WBC)in two groups were shown the same level.In the 3DCRT,there was 63 cases of recurrence(27.9%),including 44 cases of local pelvic recurrence and 19 cases of remote metastasis;there was 42 cases of recurrence(17.2%)in IMRT group,including 29 cases of local pelvic recurrence and 13 cases of remote metastasis,but the recurrence rate showed no significance difference(P>0.05).The radioactive side reaction of radiotherapy includes the radiation proctitis and radiation urocystitis,however,the rate of radiation proctitis in 3DCRT was 20.8% and significantly higher than that of IMRT(P<0.05),this difference of two groups only showed the early symptom of intermittent urgent.Conclusions:1)The results indicated that both the IMRT and the 3DCRT cause the blood toxicity via reducing the platelet(PLT)content and the number of white blood cells(WBC)in the cervical cancer patients.2)The rate of radiation proctitis in the cervical cancer patients was shown that in the 3DCRT was significant higher than that in the IMRT.3)The results indicated that the early symptom of intermittent urgent was significantly shown in the 3DCRT group than the IMRT group. |
