| Objective:To analyze the relationship between WT1 mutaion and prognosis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML)by Meta analysis. Methods:Studies published in Pub Med,CNKI,Wan Fang,CBM database were searched using the search terms ‘WT1 mutaion’and ‘Acute Myeloid Leukemia’ during recent 10 years.Publication dates were from January 1,2005 to December 1,2015.We adopted complete remission rate(CR),overall survival(OS)and relapse rate(RR)as result indicator. Results:A total of 5 English articles were included, with a total of 1488 patients accrued.Meta analysis showed that there was no difference between WT1 mutation group and WT1wild-type group on complete remission rate(CR)(RR=0.91,95% CI:0.81-1.04,P=0.16)of total AML patients, and the same to relapse rate(RR)(RR=1.30,95% CI:0.74-2.26,P=0.36),but there was significantly statistical differences between WT1 mutation group and WT1 wild-type group on overall survival(OS)(HR=1.77,95% CI:1.05-2.99,P=0.03)of total AML patients, and the same to complete remission rate(CR)(RR=0.86,95% CI:0.75-0.98,P=0.03)of NK-AML.Conclusion:The present Meta analysis suggests that there were no significant difference between WT1 mutation group and WT1 wild-type group of total AML patients on complete remission rate(CR)and relapse rate(RR).But there was significant difference between WT1 mutation group and WT1 wild-type group of total AML patients on overall survival(OS)and there was significant difference between WT1 mutation group and WT1wild-type group of NK-AML patients on complete remission rate(CR).Hence,in some ways WT1 mutation is associated with the prognosis of AML,especially CK-AML.Due to quantity limitation of included studies, more large scale studies are needed to further verify the association between WT1 mutation and prognosis of AML. |
