Objective Patients with acute pulmonary thromboembolism has been in the standardized diagnosis and treatment for more than ten years.Analyse patients’ disease conditions during the hospitalization of Ningxia Medical University from 2009 to 2011,compare it with the previous study to evaluate its current risk factors, morbidity and mortality, etc. Methods Patients diagnosed with acute pulmonary thromboembolism from January 2009 to December 2011 were enrolled in this study.Collect their clinical data, and analyze if there were differences in the symptoms, signs, treatment effects, etc. Results 1.The proportion of APTE in the number of hospitalized persons in our hospital increased from 0.66% in 2009 to 0.75% in 2011.The mortality rate in 2009 to 2011 was7.33%,5.92% and 5.97% respectively.2.APTE happened mostly in March.3.Underlying diseases such as dyslipidemia, pulmonary infection, hypoproteinemia, anemia and so on happened more frequently in APTE.4.The cases of high risk APTE,intermediate risk APTE,low risk APTE were 15(3.4%),10(2.3%),410(94.3%)respectively in the study. There were only 26 cases whose indicators for right ventricular dysfunction or myocardial injury were complete and with clear treatment effects. The proportion of patients with intermediate risk was small.5.The clinical features such as chest tightness, dizziness, syncope, pulmonary heart disease and shock were significantly different between risk stratifications(P<0.05).6.The treatment effects were significantly different between risk stratifications(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of acute pulmonary thromboembolism kept increasing from2009 to 2011,and the mortality rate remained relatively steady during this period.Dyslipidemia, pulmonary infection, hypoproteinemia, anemia, etc were the underlying diseases that happened quite frequently in APTE in this study.Clinical features can help guide the risk stratifications.Different risk stratifications had different treatment effects.
