Objective:Investigate the expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β in peripheral blood of major depressive patients,the expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β in different clinical features of major depressive disorder,the correlation between lnc RNA-gsk3β and cognition and m RNA-gsk3β.Methods:First,a case-control study was conducted to collect 68 major depressive patients in the first hospital of Shanxi Medical University and 48 normal controls in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria and sign the informed consents.All patients underwent SCID screening in line with DSM-IV criteria for the diagnosis of major depressive disorder.The Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD17)and the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)were used to assess the symptoms of depression and anxiety in patients.Life Event Scale(LES)was used to evaluate the environmental factors.The cognitive function of visual memory,visual breadth,verbal function,attention,delayed memory were evaluated by the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of neuropsychological Status(BRANS).Extract the elbow vein blood 6ml.Then extract the total RNA from their peripheral blood and we performed quantitative real-time PCR(q RT-PCR)to detect the expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β.Compare the expression level of lnc RNA-gsk3β between the major depressive patients and normal controls.Compare the expression level of lnc RNA-gsk3β between different subtypes of major depressive patients.Analyze the correlation between the expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β and cognitive function in major depressive patients.To further understand the relationship between lnc RNA-gsk3β and m RNA-gsk3β,we used q RT-PCR to determine the expression of m RNA-gsk3β in the major depressive patients.Analyze the correlation between lnc RNA-gsk3β and m RNA-gsk3β in major depressive patients.Results:1.The expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β(t =-4.472,p<0.001)in the major depressive patients was lower than that of normal group.2.e did not find any association between the expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β and clinical symptoms in major depressive patients.3.e did not find any association between the expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β and the cognition in major depressive patients.4.There was a positive correlation between lnc RNA-gsk3β and m RNA-gsk3β(r =0.247,p = 0.016)in major depressive patients.Conclusions:Major depressive patients had abnormal expression of lnc RNA-gsk3β in peripheral blood,and their expression was related to m RNA-gsk3β.
