Study On The Recent Clinical Efficacy Of Arthroscopic Discoid Meniscoplasty Suture On The Unstable Discoid Meniscus Injury

Objective:This paper aims to research and explore the recent clinical efficacy of arthroscopic discoid meniscoplasty suture on the unstable discoid meniscus injury.Methods:By using the retrospective research method,the paper chose 39 cases undergone the arthroscopic discoid meniscus reshaping or the arthroscopic discoid meniscoplasty suture form August,2014 to April,2016 in the department of orthopedics and divided them into two groups as their surgeries.The group A,which underwent the arthroscopic discoid meniscoplasty suture,were 29 cases,and the group B,which underwent the arthroscopic discoid meniscus reshaping,were 10 cases.The knee joint motion,IKDC score,Lysholm score of the two groups were compared preoperatively,postoperatively and in the last follow-up.Results:The follow-up after the surgery was about 8 to 18 months,12.4±3.2 on average,Two groups of patients were taken after the comparison of the indicators for 6 months.The knee joint motion of the group A changed from 117.3±7.6 preoperatively to 130.5±6.4postoperatively,the IKDC score increased to 86.3±7.1 after the surgery compared with the preoperative 57.4±5.6,and the Lysholm score got a rise of 91.7±7.2 compared with the former 54.4±9.3.The knee joint motion of the group B was 132.3±5.2 after the surgery,which was higher than the preoperative 120.1±7.2,the IKDC score changed from 60.5±4.5preoperatively to 89.4±6.2 postoperatively,and its Lysholm score increased in 93.4±7.3postoperatively compared with the preoperative 59.2±5.4.There were statistically significant differences in those indexes between the two groups preoperatively and postoperatively(P<0.001),while there was no statistic difference between the two groups before and after the operation(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both the arthroscopic discoid meniscus reshaping and the arthroscopic discoid meniscoplasty suture could get satisfactory early clinical efficacy.After the operation of discoid meniscus,we can keep the appropriate meniscus tissue,which may play a role in the early prevention of knee joint degeneration.
