Research Progress Of Cardiorenal Syndrome

With the increasing morbidity of heart failure and kidney disease,the close relationship between heart and kidney disease has been widely concerned,it has been proposed that the concept of cardiorenal syndrome(CRS).Cardiorenal syndrome refers to acute or chronic dysfunction of the heart or kidney causing acute or chronic dysfunction of the other organ.As the heart failure and the renal failure both influence each other,compared to any single disease,the treatment is more complex and the mortality rate is higher.Ronco divide it into 5 subtypes: type 1 cardiorenal syndrome refers to acute worsening of heart function leading to acute kidney injury(AKI);type 2 cardiorenal syndrome refers to chronic heart failure resulting chronic renal insufficiency;type 3 cardiorenal syndrome refers to acute renal insufficiency causing acute heart injury,type 4 cardiorenal syndrome is chronic kidney disease(CKD)contributing to heart dysfunction;type 5 cardiorenal syndrome is systemic conditions leading to simultaneous injury of heart and kidney.At present,there is still a lack of understanding of the pathological mechanism and treatment of cardiorenal syndrome,and this review will focus on these problems.
