Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of compound glycyrrhizic acid glycosides combined with narrow band ultraviolet in the treatment of pityriasis rosea. Methods:We searchedin Pubmed,Cochrane Library,Embase,Cnki,Wanfang,Vip for literatures about the efficacy and safety of compound glycyrrhizic acid glycosides combined with narrow band ultraviolet in the treatment of pityriasis rosea from January 1979(or from the establishment of some databases)to April 2016.The Revman5.3 software was applied to conduct meta-analysis.Results:We included 10 pieces of literatures and 803 patients. The meta-analysis is showed in the following results:the two groups were significantly different in effective rate [OR(95%CI)=8.40(4.39,16.09),P<0.01];the two groups were significantly different in pruritus remission rate [OR(95%CI)=6.56(3.19,13.50),P<0.01];the two groups were not significantly different in the rate of adverse reaction [OR(95%CI)=1.02(0.61,1.73),P=0.93].In subgroup analysis : we found that the two groups were significantly different in oral effective rate [OR(95%CI)=9.10(3.24,25.56),P<0.01];the two groups were significantly different in intravenous injection effective rate [OR(95%CI)=7.98(3.46,18.39),P<0.01].Conclusion:Compared with the treatment with narrow band ultraviolet, compound glycyrrhizic acid glycosides combined with narrow band ultraviolet has high effective rate and pruritus remission rate, with no difference in the rate of adverse reaction, and cause no severe adverse reactions. In a word, combined therapy has favorable efficacy and safety.
