Objective It is to learn about the 25-hydroxy vitamin D level condition from women of child-bearing age during the gestation period and discuss the correlation between different 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels and each of metabolic indexes during the gestation period.Method The project took 440 pregnant women totally as research subjects, which had accepted routine examinations in Three Affiliated Hospital of Qiingdao University from June,2015 to November,2015.The project recorded their ages, gestational weeks, heights, weights, blood pressures, and etc.And the project adopted electrochemiluminescence to measure the serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D [25(OH)D] levels of pregnant women with 13-16 gestational weeks.Based on it,the research subjects were divided into a deficiency group for vitamin D(284 people)and a control group(suitable group for vitamin D,totally 156 people). As for pregnant women with 13 and 32-34 gestational weeks, their body mass indexes(BMI)were recorded and figure out respectively. As for pregnant women with 24-28 gestational weeks, the glucose tolerance test(OGTT)was implemented.Fasting blood-glucose and lipid inspection were implemented in 13 weeks of pregnancy and in 32-34 weeks of pregnancy respectively. And then, the project compared the differences of percentages of overweight, body mass indexes(BMI),growth values of body mass index(△BMI),fasting blood glucoses, blood glucoses after eating sugar for 1 or 2 hours(1-2h BG),cholesterols(TC),Triglycerides(TG),low density lipoproteins(LDL-C)and high density lipoproteins(HDL-C)between two groups. Results 1.It was found in the research that most of pregnant women lack vitamin D.The deficiency group for vitamin D(25-(OH)D≤20ng/m L)had 284 people, accounting for 64.54% of the totoal amount. While, the control group(suitable group for vitamin D,25-(OH)D≥20.1 nag/m L)had 156 people, accounting for 35.45% of the total amount.2.The paper compared the differences of weight changes for two groups of people.Based on comparison of tested BMI during first trimester and third trimester between the deficiency group for vitamin D and control group(suitable group for vitamin D),average BMI of the deficiency group for vitamin D in first trimester was 25.46±3.53,while,that of control group was 22.24±3.47.It had statistical significance to compare the difference between two groups(P<0.05).In third trimester, average BMI of the deficiency group for vitamin D was 30.79±3.21,while,that of control group was 27.66±3.36.There is also statistical significance after comparing the differences between two groups(P<0.05).And △BMI of the deficiency group for vitamin D was 6.96±1.98,while that of control group was 5.25±0.86.The difference had statistical significance.Besides, obesity proportion for the decificiency group for vitamin D during the same pregnancy compared with that of control group, and the difference between them had statistical significance(P <0.05).3.The paper compared the results of OGTT exams for two groups of people with 24-28 gestional weeks.FBG of the deficiency group for vitamin D was 4.60±1.12(mmol/L),while,that of control group was 4.11±0.43(mmol/L).The difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).And 1h BG of the deficiency group for vitamin D was 9.68±1.54(mmol/L),while,that of control group was 5.89±1.16(mmol/L).The difference has also statistical significance(P<0.05).Besides,2h BG of the deficiency group for vitamin D was 6.52±1.21(mmol/L),while,that of control group was 6.45±1.30(mmol/L).The difference had not any statistical significance(P>0.05).4.The indexes of blood glucose and blood lipid metabolism in first trimester for the two groups were compared,FBG was 4.45±1.02(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in first trimester,3.91±0.67(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has statistic significance(P<0.05);TG was 1.44±0.49(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in first trimester,0.80±0.60(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has statistic significance(P<0.05);LDL-C was 2.60±0.67(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in first trimester,2.11±0.67(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has statistic significance(P<0.05).TC was 3.89±0.67(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in first trimester,3.62±0.74(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has no statistic significance(P>0.05);HDL-C was 1.65±0.33(mg/dl)for group of vitamin D deficiency in first trimester,1.90±0.39(mg/dl)for control group, the comparison difference has no statistic significance(P>0.05).5.The indexes of blood glucose and blood lipid metabolism in third trimester for the two groups were compared,FBG was 5.27±0.68(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in third trimester,4.52±0.57(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has statistic significance(P<0.05);TG was 2.10±1.09(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in third trimester,1.34±0.88(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has statistic significance(P<0.05);LDL-C was 3.18±0.14(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in third trimester,2.69±0.19(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has statistic significance(P<0.05).TC was 4.36±1.80(mmol/L)for group of vitamin D deficiency in third trimester,4.14±1.57(mmol/L)for control group, the comparison difference has no statistic significance(P>0.05);HDL-C was 1.74±0.53(mg/dl)for group of vitamin D deficiency in third trimester,1.87±0.46(mg/dl)for control group, the comparison difference has no statistic significance(P>0.05).Conculsion: 1.Women in pregnancy have lower levels of vitamin D in general. If they are lack of vitamin D,their body mass indexs and growth values of BMI are higher obviously than that of people with suitable vitamin D level. It means that vitamin D level may be related to the overweight of women in pregnancy.2.As for pregnant women with vitamin D deficiency, the content of fasting blood-glucose,triglyceride and low density lipoprotein are obviously higher than that of pregnant women with vitamin D sufficiency both in early and late pregnancy, which implies that low vitamin D level in pregnancy is probably associated with glucose and lipid metabolism in pregnancy.
