| Objective: To explore the possible association between the SNPs of phosphodiesterase(PDE)4D gene and Obsessive-compulsive disorder in the Chinese Han population, and look for biological markets. Methods: According to the Tenth Revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems(ICD-10)that diagnostic criteria of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder;Using polymerase chain reaction to augment the target genes, and restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP)technique measure the diversity of the sequence, detect phosphodiesterase(PDE)4D gene rs1838733 of 859 experimenters in this study, experimenters being up to the mark, containing 400 patients and 459 controls.Comparing genotype and allele distribution difference in the cases and controls group, then, knowing the prevalence of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, analysing the correlation with obsessive-compulsive disorder.Comparing different genders and onset ages of the genotype and allele frequency, thus explored the correlation with the obsessive-compulsive disorder. Results: The site conform to Hardy-Weinberg(p>0.05),three genotypes(AA,AG,GG)of PDE4 D gene rs1838733 were detected. There is no significant differences between the case and health controls in the genotype and allele at rs1838733(P>0.05).There is also no significant differences in the allele and genotype frequency between different genders/onset ages OCD(P>0.05).Conclusion: There is no evidence to prove that the SNP rs1838733 in PDE4 D gene has significant association with OCD in Chinese Han population. |
