Study The Association Between Ki67、VEGF And Clinicopathological Significance In Colorectal Cancer

Objective To investigate the expression of Ki67 and VEGF in colorectal cancer.To explore if they can forecast the grade malignancy of colorectal cancer,and whether there’s some correlation during their expression on clinicopathological features.Method Retrospective analysis the clinical data of 300 cases of colorectal cancer patients who were operated in the department of colorectal surgery in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University,during December 2013 to December 2015.Dividing all the patients into 2 groups according the expression of Ki67 and VEGF,then analysing if there were some difference in the size,TNM stages,invasion depth,lymph node metastasis,remote metastasis and tumor location between the different groups of the patients,and whether there’s some correlation during the expression of Ki67 and VEGF on clinicopathological features.Rusult(1)The expression of Ki67 was associated with the size of tumor,pathological stage,depth of infiltration,lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis survive(P<0.05),however,there were no significant difference in gender or location(P>0.05).(2)There was higher expression of Ki67 in the carcinoma with a bigger size,later TNM stage,deeper infiltration,lymphatic and distant metastases.(3)The expression of VEGF was associated with the size of tumor,pathological stage,depth of infiltration,lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis survive(P<0.05),however,there were no significant difference in gender or location(P>0.05).(4)There was higher expression of VEGF in the carcinoma with later TNM stage,lymphatic and distant metastases.(5)There was positive correlation between the expression of these two genes.Conclusion The unnormal expression of Ki67 and VEGF were associated with the size of tumor,pathological stage,depth of infiltration,lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis survive.The carcinoma had a stronger aggressive with a higher expression of Ki67 and VEGF,and combined detection of Ki67 and VEGF may help to understand the biological behavior of colorectal carcinoma.
