Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide.Hyperlipidemia is closely linked with cardiovascular disease and is an important factor leading to atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.The increase in triglyceride and cholesterol levels in human blood,especially elevated concentrations of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,is a risk signal for atherosclerosis.In this study,natto powder,ginkgo extract and salvia miltiorrhiza extract which could be used for both medicine and edible were chosen to compose a compound of the prescription based on Chinese medicine prescription and modern pharmacological research.The lipid-lowering mechanism of the compounds was studied by experimental hyperlipidemia in rats.The signatures of a single sample were tested and the active ingredient in the extract sample met the requirements.The results showed that the content of total flavonoids in the sample was 7.7 g / 100 g.In order to prevent the high purine content in the sample caused by the risk of gout,100 g natto detected guanine content of 7.40 mg,adenine 11.14 mg,xanthine 17.90 mg,hypoxanthine 9.81 mg.And the promotion of coagulation,to maintain the role of coagulation time of vitamin K2 were also tested,natto powder in the vitamin K2 content of less than 0.26 mg/100 g,does not affect the prescription after the lipid-lowering effect.According to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine prescription medicine,proportion was 2:1:0.52 mainly composed of Natto powder,ginkgo biloba extract and salvia miltiorrhiza extract.Sprague-Dawley rats with hyperlipidemia induced by high-fat diet were used to study the hyperlipidemic effects of prescription,all the rats were fed with different dose(150 mg/kg·d、300 mg/kg·d、900 mg/kg·d)of prescription for 4 weeks.And Simvastatin high fat control group(5 mg / kg·d),blank high fat control group and normal animal control group were also established as contrast.The levels of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),alanine aminotransferase(GPT / ALT)and total lipase [lipoprotein lipase(LPL)and Enzyme(HL)] was evaluated.At the same time,the levels of total superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX)were measured in order to investigate the anti-Oxidation capacity.The results showed that low,medium and high dose groups were able to inhibit the growth of body weight in rats obviously,about 25%,and the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in serum of high-fat rats has decreased 13%,32-40%,24-50% respectively compared to those in low-dose and high-dose groups.Also,the activity of SOD in the liver tissue was increased by about 14%,the content of MDA was decreased by about 20%,and the content of GPT in serum was decreased by about 15%,and the activity of LPL and HL in liver tissue was significantly increased by 10-20%.In addition,maximum dose was used to carry out the acute toxicity test.The results showed that prescription had no toxicity.This study also carried out a preliminary exploration of the process of health food.In summary,natto powder,ginkgo extract and Salvia extract group can reduce the total cholesterol,triglycerides and low density lipoprotein.High-density lipoprotein levels are elevated while antioxidant activity is enhanced.Three groups of raw materials can better inhibit atherosclerosis.It can be safe,effective,long-term use.So the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease is of great significance.
