Objective: To analyze the MRI features of lumbar disc herniation after injury, and to quantify the MRI data of the patients with lumbar disc herniation. At the same time, compared with CT,X-ray and other traditional imaging methods,to explore the application value of MR in forensic identification,to provide objective indicators and new methods for forensic identification of lumbar disc herniation after injury.Materials and Methods: We collected 120 cases of CT patients who underwent MRI examination in our hospital from 2012-02 to 2017-02.The imaging findings of routine MRI examination were retrospectively analyzed, and the advantages of CT and X-ray examination were compared. The conventional MR scanning included axial and sagittal TIWI,T2 WI and T2 fat suppression sequence, observe MRI signs of injury of lumbar disc herniation, intervertebral disc herniation including location, disc direction,MRI signal strength characteristics, whether the spinal cord compression symptoms, lumbar intervertebral disc than MR measurement the sagittal line distance and spinal stenosis, lumbar disc herniation according to the performance of the data type,statistics.Results:(1)the lumbar disc herniation of lumbar intervertebral disc occurred in most of the lumbar spine in 4/ group in the lumbar spine and the lumbar spine and the lumbosacral 5/ in 1 cases after injury, and the number of the central type was the highest, followed by the central type.(2)in the group of,the lumbar disc herniation in the injured group was mainly mixed with T1 WI,mixed T2 WI and mixed T2 pressure image on MRI,followed by T1 WI,T2WI and T2 image.(3)the group of 120 patients after injury of lumbar disc herniation under different degrees of change there are 93 cases of spinal cord,61 cases with signal change;120 cases lumbar subcutaneous T1 WI low,T2 WI high and T2 FATSAT like high signal.(4)120 cases of injury of lumbar disc herniation, lumbar intervertebral disc MR display over the sagittal line distance is 1.03mm-13.39 mm,the average is 7.32mm;the central spinal canal sagittal diameter range is 1.11mm-13.97 mm,the average is 7.68mm;spinal canal diameter range is 7.68mm-29.90 mm,average is 19.83 mm.(5)after the fresh injury, the prominent intervertebral disc was mainly mixed signal, and the herniated intervertebral disc on the MRI was weakened after the old injury.Conclusions:(1)after the injury site of lumbar disc herniation and prominent type is similar to general lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal 4/ to 5 level and 1 level lumbar sacral 5/,with the central and paracentral type, therefore, when patients with general lumbar disc herniation symptoms, should be highly wary of trauma, injury may,at this time should be examined by MR or follow-up.(2)after the injury of lumbar disc herniation in MR showed multiple disc mixed signal or signal, wherein the herniated intervertebral disc after injury to fresh mixed signal, after the old injury of intervertebral disc decreased signal on MRI,if CT and X-ray combined with intervertebral disc calcification.More tips for the old injury.(3)when the compression of spinal cord is displayed on the MRI,the change of the signal is a strong evidence of the trauma, and the abnormal signal of the subcutaneous fat in the waist can be used for diagnosis.(4)the increase of the distance between the lumbar intervertebral disc(MR)and the sagittal line, the decrease of the central sagittal diameter of the spinal canal and the reduction of the transverse diameter of the vertebral canal can help the diagnosis of the disease.
