Purpose:To explore the feasibility of Spectral CT quantitative parameters to detect the angiogenesis of Rat C6 Glioma.Method:The C6 glioma cells were implanted in the right caudate nucleus of 20 healthy male SD Rats by stereotaxic device.On the 7th,14 th and 21 st day after tumor cells implant,the spectral CT was performed to measure the iodine(water),water(iodine)content of the center of tumor,peritumoral area of tumor and the area of contralateral normal brain tissue.The perfusion parameters CBV,CBF,MTT,TTP were also measured.Chooseing 5 Rats within 24 h after every CT scans,the whole brains were removed by 4% Paraformaldehyde perfusion through the heart,then immunohistochemical staining of MVD,VEGF and CD105 was performed.The correlation between Spectral CT,CT perfusion parameters and MVD,VEGF,CD105 at different time points and different parts were analyzed statistically.Result:1、The same tumor area CBF,CBV,determined by MTT and TTP in tumor cells within 14 days after planting is on the rise,gradually reduce in 14 days.The perfusion parameters including CBF,CBV,MTT and TTP at different time points in the same tumor region were significantly correlated with vascular related immune factors VEGF,MVD and CD105(P<0.05).2、The result of the iodine(water)and water(iodine)content of different areas were showed that the centre of tumor >the peripheralarea of tumor>the area of contralateral normal brain tissue at the same time.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The same area of iodine(water),(water)iodine value in tumor cells grow on the rise within 14 days,after 14 days gradually decline,the statisticallysignificant difference(P<0.05).The iodine(water)content in the centre of tumor and the peripheralarea of tumor after tumor cells plantde 7 and 14 days was positively correlated with MVD and CD105(P<0.05),the area of contralateral normal brain tissue was not corrlated with CD105(P>0.05).Conclusion:1、The same tumor area of spectral CT perfusion parameter CBF,CBV,MTT and TTP within 14 days after tumor cells planting is on the rise,gradually reduce in 14 days.The dynamic trend of perfusion parameters was associated with vascular immune factors,perfusion parameters can reflect the rat C6 glioma angiogenesis.2、The same tumor area of spectral CT parameter iodine(water)within 14 days after tumor cells planting is on the rise,gradually reduce in 14 days.The iodine(water)content in the centre of tumor and the peripheralarea of tumor have correlated with MVD and CD105,the iodine(water)content of spectral CT can reflect the rat C6 glioma angiogenesis.3、The dynamic trend of spectral CT perfusion parameter and spectral CT iodine(water)content was associated with vascular immune factors,the spectral CT can reflect the rat C6 glioma angiogenesis.
