Research On The Ancient And Modern Literature About Ren Meridian Acupoints Treating With Acupuncture And Moxibustion

Objective:This paper aims to summarize the high-frequent use acupoints,major attending diseases and techniques of Ren meridian in application to acupuncture and moxibustion therapy through the way of searching and analyzing the related ancient and modern literature resources.And then to provide clinical and theoretical reference about Ren meridian acupoints.Methods:Using 48 acupuncture ancient books among the fifth edition of "Chinese Medical Classics" as ancient literature source while the relevant documents recorded by China Hownet since the public of China as contemporary retrieving source.Then type in and calculate data with the combinative help of manual work and computer software “Microsoft excel” according to the categories of acupoints,curative diseases and therapies.Finally get the outcome by analyzing.Results:In the ancient literature,the number of using acupoints is 2197,the suitable kinds of diseases is 141,the frequency of curing conditions is 2715 and the therapy methods total up to 5 kinds.In the field of modern literature,these figures are respectively 1331,147,1316 and 15.Conclusion:Ren meridian acupoints have widely applied to different kinds of diseases treating with acupuncture and moxibustion in clinical and it plays an essential part in all the subjects.
