| Objective: Apply the Chinese version of IAD severity categorisation tool in cancer patiens with incontinence associated dermatitis(IAD)to test the reliability and validity of this assessment instrument.Methods: Through literature,select and introduce a new IAD assessment instrument-Chinese version of IAD severity categorisation tool,which was developed in 2015 by the expert group of incontinence associated dermatitis.In2016.04-2016.05,we randomly selected 20 cancer patiens with incontinence associated dermatitis or risk of incontinence associated dermatitis cancer patiens were pre test.In 2016.06-2016.10,a total of 80 incontinence cancer patiens with incontinence associated dermatitis or risk of incontinence associated dermatitis were selected by convenience sampling,and all cancer patiens with incontinence were assessed with the Chinese version of the IAD severity categorisation tool.And collect the basic information of patients and incontinence associated dermatitis photos,then apply the items of sensitivity analysis,Validity(content validity,criterion related validity,construct validity),Reliability(internalconsistency reliability,inter rater reliability,test-retest reliability)to evaluate the reliability and validity of Chinese version of IAD severity categorisation tool.Results:(1)Item sensitivity analysis: in addition to "severity" and "treatment measures 1" has a strong correlation with some other items,the correlation among other items is weak.8 items were removed after the entry of Cronbach 's alpha coefficient is 0.770~0.839;(2)Validity analysis: content validity analysis showed that,through assessed by 5 experts,the content validity index(S-CVI)of the Chinese version of the IAD severity categorisation tool was 0.925.The factor analysis shows that the KMO is 0.773,the Bartlett's Test of Sphericity is 252.618(p<0.001),that is suitable for factor analysis.By using exploratory factor analysis to extract 2 common factors,the cumulative variance contribution rate was 60.954%,and each item factor loadings were greater than0.5.The correlation coefficient r=0.891(p<0.001)was obtained by using the IADS scale as the criterion;After 3 months of follow-up and reevaluation of 54 cancer patiens with incontinence,the correlation coefficient of predictive validity r=0.793(p<0.001).(3)Reliability analysis: the Chinese version of IAD severity categorisation tool total Cronbach 's alpha coefficient was 0.834.A and B,two evaluators have great correlation between the assessment results.The inter rater reliability was ICC=0.979(p<0.001).The test-retest reliability was ICC=0.989(p<0.001),close to 100%.All the results were statistically significant.Conclusions:This study shows that the Chinese version of IAD severity categorisation tool has good reliability and validity in cancer patiens with incontinence associated dermatitis,and can be used to evaluate the cancer patiens with incontinence associated dermatitis in China. |
