Analysis On Economic Burden Of Coronary Heart Disease And Inpatient Medicla Cost Influencing Factors In Guang Xi In 2013

Objective:To analyze the economic burden of coronary heart disease(CHD)and the influencing factors of hospitalization expenses in Guangxi in 2013,for providing the basis for the health administrative department to formulate relevant health policies.Methods:(1)The medical records of hospitalized patients with CHD in Guangxi in2013 were collected.The hospitalization expenses of CHD patients were calculated,and the influencing factors of hospitalization expenses were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.(2)Through the questionnaire survey of the CHD economic burden,the outpatient cost,the direct non-medical economic burden and the indirect economic burden of relatives of CHD in 2013 were estimated.(3)Collecting YLD,YLL and DALY of CHD in China in 2013 by the global burden of disease(GBD)of 2013,using disability adjusted life years(DALY)combined with human capital method to calculate the indirect economic burden of patients.Results:(1)A total of 31107 inpatients with CHD were collected in 2013,the ratio of male to female was 1.55:1.The average age was 67.44±12.57.The average hospitalization day of inpatients was 6 days.The surgical treatment accounted for 29.39% in inpatients.(2)The total inpatient medical cost of CHD was 4.06 billion CNY,the average inpatient medical cost of CHD was 6,150.73 CNY in Guangxi in 2013.The average inpatient medical cost of surgical patient was 17 thousand CNY.The average inpatient medical cost of non-surgical patient was 4800.92 CNY.The top proportion of inpatient medical cost is medical materials(33.98%).The second proportion of inpatient medical cost was western medicine(20.51%).(3)The total economic burden of CHD was 9.60 billion CNY in Guangxi in2013.The total inpatient medical cost with CHD was 4.43 billion CNY in Guangxi in 2013.The total outpatient expenditure with CHD was 0.09 billion CNY in Guangxi in 2013.The total direct non-medical economic burden with CHD was 0.03 billion CNY in Guangxi in 2013.The total indirect economic burden of relatives with CHD was 0.16 billion CNY in Guangxi in 2013.The total indirect economic burden was 5.26 billion CNY in Guangxi in 2013.(4)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that seven factors were the influencing factors of hospitalization cost.It includes sex,age,marital status,payment method,surgical,hospitalization and combined with other diseases.Surgical and hospital stay were the main influence factor for inpatient medical cost.Conclusion:(1)The total economic burden of coronary heart disease in Guangxi in2013 was relatively heavy.(2)The average inpatient medical cost of CHD was at a moderate level Results:compared with other diseases in Guangxi in 2013.The average inpatient medical cost of the surgical patients with CHD is higher than that of the non-surgical patients.(3)The cost of surgery and length of stay are the main factors influencing the inpatient medical cost of CHD.
