Study On The Rule Of Prescriptions Of Acupuncture And Moxibustion F Or Treatment Of Infertility In Ancient Literature Of Chinese Medicine

Objective: By retrieving the ancient literature,this study compiles the related information about acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of infertility,induces and analyses the treatment of infertility selected features and the regularity of acupoint compatibility,in order to expand the clinical application.Methods: Retrievaling the "Chinese medical classics" published on the Hunan electronic audio(2013 Fifth Edition)included more than 1000 Chinese medical books by computer complied with the manual retrieval to subsume the related literature data and statistic the frequency use of acupoints and meridian,site distribution,specific acupoints,acupuncture and moxibustion etc.in order to analyse the characteristics of acupoint selection and regularity of compatibility.Results: Ancient physicians treat infertility involving a total of 34 acupoints,31 of them are in the Fourteen Meridians and 3 of them are specific acupoints,involving the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin,the Ren Meridian,the Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyang,the Spleen Meridian of Foot-Taiyin,the Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming,the Liver Meridian of Foot-Jueyin,the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang and the Du Meridian.These points are mostly located in the abdomen and waist back.Among the specific acupoints,doctors paid more attentions to the Five-Shu point,the Crossing Point and the Front-mu Point.The amount of related prescriptions is 247 and there are 230 prescriptions which are composed of one single acupoint,12 prescriptions which are composed of two acupoints.Conclusion: In ancient time,most doctors just used one single acupoint to treat infertility and the use of moxibustion is much more than acupuncture.According to the using times,the top ten acupoints are Zhongji(RN3),Guanyuan(RN4),Yongquan(KI1),Rangu(KI2),Yinjiao(RN7),Yinlian(LR11),Shangqiu(SP5),Shangliao(BL31),Qichong(ST30),Shiguan(KI18).While the selection of acupoints is given priority to he Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin,the Ren Meridian,and acupuncture points are mostly located in the abdomen and lower back,and doctors paid more attentions to on the Five-Shu point,the Front-mu Point and the Crossing Point.
