Objective:To investigate the application of ultrasound in microsurgical excision ofintracranial cavernous hemangioma. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 25 patients with intracranial cavernous hemangioma, performed resection in the first affiliated hospital of kunming medical university between November 2014 and September 2016.In all patients, intraoperative ultrasound was performed to locate the lesion and to remove the lesion in real-time,and to determine the extent of the lesion. After operation, the rate of removal, complication rate and recovery of nervous system function were observed. Results:In the 25 cases of intracranial cavernous hemangioma, the ultrasound was able to show good accuracy and accuracy. All patients’ lesions were completely excised by ultrasonography, and the total reduction rate was 100%.No ultrasonic scan results in cerebral contusion, hemorrhage and other complications. No cases of infection or death,Postoperative pathological results were intracranial cavernous hemangioma. The clinical symptoms and signs of postoperative patients were significantly better than before and no new neurological dysfunction was reported. The 10 cases of headache were largely gone, all four patients with neurological dysfunction were completely restored to normal.Of the 11 cases of epilepsy,9 have been completely cured,no oral antiepileptic drags, and 2 oral antiepileptic drugs are fully controlled. All patients had no recurrence of the lesion of the head MRI.Conclusion:Intraoperative ultrasound is a safe,non-radioactive imaging technique that is easy to use and flexible.Intraoperative ultrasound can clearly show the morphological and anatomical details of intracranial cavernous hemangioma and its spatial relations with adjacent structures, can be accurate positioning of intracranial cavernous hemangioma and decision boundary.Intraoperative ultrasound provides valuable information on the selection of cortical incision, microtomy and diagnosis of tumor residues,to assist and guide the operation process, which greatly increased the tumor resection rate, reduce tissue damage, shorten the operation time, improve the effect of surgical treatment. With smaller, more precise ultrasonic probes, the combination of 3d ultrasound, ultrasound imaging, color doppler flow imaging and other techniques effectively combined,The ultrasonography has great progress in judging the boundary of tumor and the supply of blood flow, and has broad clinical application prospect and value.
