Clinical Analysis Of Full Post-auricular Skin Expansion For Microtia Reconstruction

Objective To explore the feasibility and clinical effect of ear reconstruction with full expansion of skin after earMethod:The expander(50-80ml)is implanted under the skin,after one week of the surgery the expansion period start,the normal saline is injected,normal saline injection is injected 1-2 times a week,each time 3-5ml,expansion time is 3-4 months,the total amount of normal saline injection is 90-110ml,the second stage is to open the chest and 6th,7th,8th or 6th,7th ribs cartilage are harvested and the three-dimensional ear framework is prepared,with expanded flap it is covered,continuous negative pressure suction is applied to the ear,three-stage operation to carry out the ear lobe transposition,deepen the external auditory canal,complete auricle reconstruction.Results:From 2015 January to 2017 March,The method was used to complete the auricle deformity of 55 cases.Follow-up 6 months-2 years,except for 5 cases of dilated,infection and the effect of ear cartilage exposure to poor,in addition to the effect of 50 cases satisfactory,reconstructed auricle position,size,angle,shape and the basic symmetry of the ear profile.Conclusion:The method of full expansion of ear skin after ear reconstruction can provide the skin that wraps the ear bracket,without skin grafting,simplifying operation,and the color morphology of the auricle after the operation,and it can get good results.
