The Expression Of NY-ESO-1 And MAGE-A1 In Epithelial Ovarian Cancer And Its Significance | | Posted on:2018-10-28 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:T T Qiu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2334330518462384 | Subject:Obstetrics and gynecology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:To detect the expression of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 in normal ovarian tissues and epithelial ovarian cancer,and to explore the relationship between the expression of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 and the clinicopathological features and the prognosis of patients with EOC.Whether they can be used to clinically determine the patient’s condition and assess the prognosis.Methods:The expression of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 protein in 90 epithelial ovarian cancer patients(90 cases)and normal ovarian tissues samples(24 cases)were detected by immunohistochemical Max vision method.The difference expression of the two groups in the case were analyzed by SPSS20.0.The relationship between the expression of the two proteins and the survival time of EOC patients was evaluated by follow-up analysis..Results:The positive expression rate of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 protein were 46.7%(42/90)and 52.2%(47/90)respectively in 90 cases of EOC patients.In normal ovarian tissue sections,the positive expression rate of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 protein were 8.3%(2/24)and 12.5%(3/24)respectively.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 were correlated with FIGO staging,histological differentiation and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05),and were not corrlelated with age and pathologic type(P>0.05).High expression rate of patients with poor prognosis.There was a positive correlation between the two expression in EOC(r=0.360,P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The positive expression rate of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 protein in EOC tissue was significantly higher than that in normal ovarian tissue,indicating that the expression of the two may be related to the occurrence and development of EOC.2.Detecting the expression of NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-A1 may help to determine the patient’s condition and assess the prognosis of the patient. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | NY-ESO-1, MAGE-A1, Epithelial ovarian cancer, Immunohistochemistry, Prognosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
