Objective:Collect and summarize the literature about the diagnosis and treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia,and analyze the relationship between PML-RARα gene in both marrow and peripheral blood on patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia.Method:Refer to the literature about acute promyelocytic leukemia in domestic and overseas,summarize their diagnosis methods,treatment and prognostic evaluation methods.Compare and contrast the PML-RAR fusion gene in peripheral blood of 117 patients when newly diagnosed,post initial treatment and relapse.Results:The MICM diagnosis provide comprehensive diagnosis,make sure of the positive rates of acute promyelocytic leukemia,monitoring the MRD is necessary.It was found that the observed 117 APL patients when newly diagnosed has a 94%(110/117)positive rate of PML-RARα fusion gene in peripheral blood.Of the 77 post initial treatment cases,87% were positive for PML-RARα in peripheral blood,showing significantly decreased expression when compared with expression prior to treatment.Ten patients relapsed showed positive PML-RARα fusion gene expression close to expression levels of newly diagnosed patients.Conclusion: The MICM diagnosis is of great significance to the diagnosis of acute promyelocytic leukemia,ATO joint ATRA is the first treatment.There may be some correlation between the expression of PML-RARα fusion gene in acut-e promyelocytic leukemia in bone marrow and peripheral blood.
