The Clinical Study Of Recovering Muscle Tension System For Unilateral Cleft Lip Secondary Repair

OBJECTIVE:The operation of unilateral cleft lip secondary repair is comparatively more difficult than the first time of cleft lip repair.To investigate the unilateral cleft lip secondary repair with the method of recovering muscle tension system for correcting nasolabial deformity.METHODS:Twenty patients with unilateral cleft lip repair in this study.By using the ruler to measure the anatomical remarks of lip height,lip length and nostril width before and after cheiloplasty respectively.Student’s t test was used for statistical analysis with SPSS 22.0 software.RESULTS:There was no significant difference in the upper lip height、lip length and nostril width at the normal side before and after cheiloplasty(P >0.05),however,there was still significant difference in these statistics of the operated side before and after operation.There was also no significant difference in the upper lip height、lip length and nostril width between the normal side and the operated side.CONCLUSIONS:The method of recovering muscle tension system is useful for making the good correction of upper lip height、lip length and nostril width atthe operated side,reducing the incidence rate of secondary lip-nasal deformities,it also obtains a satisfied assessment for patients.
