Objective:Through the investigation of growth and development of Xinjiang Uygur,Han,Kazak children, get Adiposity Rebound Age,comparison of Uygur 、 Han、 Kazak childrens AR and the distribution of ethnic differences,so as to explore the predictive value of AR age on childhood obesity,To provide scientific basis for children obesity intervention strategies. Methods: Based on the National Natural Science Foundation(81260440),The early completion in 2014 Urumqi,Karamay,Aletai,Yining survey on physical development of children aged 3~9 years in four areas, for parents a questionnaire survey to obtain family status, birth status of children, parents growth index information. The study of children less than 7 years old was two times of height, weight and waist were measured every year in April and October,a total of 5 follow-up,observe the change of BMI,BSA,WHtr and other indicators;SAS 9.3 software was used for fitting generalized additive models to follow-up BMI,that the individual AR age, using SPSS 21 software description Uygur Han and Kazakh children AR age distribution and compared;analysis of obese and non obese children, three nation distribution and correlation analysis of AR;age and growth index;relationship between BMI level changes during follow-up compared with three national AR age;Using multiple linear regression analysis get influencing factors of AR age among Uygur Han and Kazak children. Results: there were 2453 children, including Uygur 875,Han 1050,Kazak 528,1276 boys,1177 girls. The children’s individual AR age occurred in 4~6 years, there was statistical significance in Uygur and Han,Kazak three national AR age distribution(F=172.309,P < 0.001);and non obesity groups, age of three ethnic differences of AR was statistically significant(F=162.092,P<0.001;F=20.87,P< 0.001);age and follow-up BMI,AR,BSA,WHtr of children have certain relevance;during follow-up,BMI grading from normal to obese group and obese as compared to the normal group, the two groups were statistically significant differences in age AR(t=-10.123,P < 0.001),and the former AR younger than the latter;results of multiple linear regression showed that household income is the common factor influence of Uygur and Han nationality children age three,ha AR,other factors are not completely consistent. Conclusion: The age distribution of AR in Uygur,Han and Kazak is obviously different, and AR age can be used as a predictor of obesity in children.
