Objective: the purpose of this paper is to study combination of aerobic exercise and metformin treatment for joint intervention in type 2 diabetes rat liver glycogen and PI3K/AKT/GSK-3 beta signaling pathways,discusses the mechanism of improving glucose metabolism method.Methods: high fat and sugar diet joint’s method of intraperitoneal injection of STZ diabetic rats model,were randomly divided into normal group(N group),diabetes control group(group D),the aerobic exercise group(O),metformin,drug treatment group(M)and aerobic exercise intervention in combination with metformin drug treatment group(OM).Using 6 weeks swimming exercise intervention,drug treatment with metformin suspension to fill the stomach,and for the rest of the group of using pure water lavage 6 weeks,6 weeks after the death in liver to detect the contents of liver glycogen and AKT and GSK-3 beta protein expression.Results: 1.Group D rat liver glycogen content is significantly lower than group N,O,M group is significantly higher than in the rat liver glycogen content D group,the OM group and group D liver glycogen content was no significant difference.2.Group D quantity of AKT protein expression in rats wassignificantly lower than group N,O,M group,OM group had a significantly higher amount of AKT protein expression in rat group D,O group and M group had a significantly higher amount of protein expression OM group.3 D group rats GSK group-3 beta protein expression significantly higher amount of N,O,M group,OM group rats GSK-3 beta protein expression quantity is significantly lower than that of group D,O and M group amount of protein expression was significantly lower than OM group.Conclusion: aerobic exercise and metformin intervention can improve the liver glycogen reserves,but aerobic exercise combined metformin intervention is relatively single intervention did not have the effect of synergy,speculation and metformin affects athletic ability,leading to sports fatigue on rates reduce the liver glycogen synthesis.
