Objective: To study the application of cone beam CT with different sagittal skeletal patterns in procumbency malocclusion patients with anterior labial alveolar bone fenestration and dehiscence incidence and distribution. To provide the clinical diagnosis and the healthy movement of the teeth during treatment.Materials and methods: A sample of 112 cases was selected from orthodontic department at ×× hospital(male 44 cases, female 68 cases),mean age 19.73 + 2.59 years,CBCT images were collected before orthodontic surgery in all the subjects. The subjects were divided into 4 groups according to different sagittal and lip inclination.According to Chinese normal co-Steiner analysis of mean,[Sticker],[Sticker],[Sticker] type of sagittal division of the ANB angle to the mean plus or minus 1 times the standard deviation as the limit,U1-SN plus or minus 1 times the standard deviation, class I(incisor lip inclination, with normal),class I and II in procumbency, with class III in procumbency,a total of four groups. The KaVo3 DeXam computerized cone beam tomography system was used to scan the CBCT images of all subjects under the same conditions. The alveolar bone of the maxillary anterior teeth was measured by the Invivo Dental 5.1 software with the occurrence of alveolar bone fenestration and dehiscence.Patients were sitting position, the Frankfort plane parallel to the ground, fixed natural head position, chin placed on the chin, upper and lower lip naturally closed, calm breathing teeth bite in the middle of the joint, upper and lower lip and tongue in the rest and do not swallow.Reference Sun Liangyan and so choose the largest tooth buccal cross-section of alveolar bone fenestration and dehiscence measurement and observation plane,1)adjust the horizontal section to the largest cross-section of the root,so that sagittal cross-section through the bucco-lingual surface of the most bump;2)in the coronal section of the sagittal section of the rotation through the tooth edge and root tip;3)Sagittal plane rotation of the coronal section,so that through the root tip,the sagittal section of the tooth is the largest buccal tongue cross-section.The SPSS19.0 statistics package data chi-square test was used to analyze The incidence and distribution of the labial alveolar bone fenestration and dehiscence, was compared in different skeletal pattaern in patient with incisors labial inclination,P<0.05,the difference was statistical,P<0.01,the difference was statistical significance. Results: 1.Different sagittal skeletal pattern with procumbency malocclusion patients, with procumbency class I and class III and than class I in(incisor labial inclination of normal alveolar bone)high incidence of alveolar bone dehiscence(P<0.05).The incidence of Alveolar bone fenestration was not statistically different among different sagittal skeletal planes, and there was no significant difference between the two groups.2.The left maxillary canine labial alveolar bone fenestration rate is the highest(6.11%),the maxillary left central incisor labial alveolar bone fenestration rate is the lowest(0.45%);the maxillary right lateral incisor labial alveolar bone dehiscence rate is the highest(4.62%),the maxillary right incisor labial alveolar bone dehiscence rate is the lowest(1.05%).3.Among the four groups of patients, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of alveolar bone fenestration and alveolar bone dehiscence in the lateral alveolar bone of male and female anterior teeth. Conclusion: Different sagittal skeletal pattern with procumbency malocclusion patients, with Class I and Class III in procumbency alveolar bone dehiscence occurrence rate is high, fenestration occurs in the maxillary canine bone, dehiscence occurs in the maxillary lateral incisor, maxillary canine.
