Objectives:To clarify the status of nursing workplace social capital,empowerment and job embeddedness in 3 Grade A hospitals in Jilin province.To explore the influence factors and their relationships of workplace social capital,empowerment and job embeddedness in clinical nurses in 3Grade A hospital s in Jilin province;To improve the satisfaction of clinical nurses,reduce the turnover rate of clinical nurses,provide theoretical support.Methods:The research is Non-experimental research 479 clinical nurses from 3 Grade A hospitals participated in the questionnaire survey in Jilin province.Research instruments were composed of general demographic data,workplace social capital Scale.empowerment Questionnaire and Job Embeddedness Questionnaire.The data collected was analyzed by SPSS 19.0.Results:(1)The total score of social capital in clinical nurses’ workplace was 34.54±5.05,and the average score was 4.31±0.63.Clinical nurses workplace social capital of the various dimensions of the score from low to high order,followed by cognitive,structural type.The scores of different ages,different age,marriage,education,nursing age,job title,job type and job motivation of clinical nurses showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05,p<0.01)。(2)The total score of empowerment in clinical nurses was 46.49±6.11,and the average score was 3.87±0.50.Clinical nurses empowerment to increase the score from high to low,followed by self-efficacy,work meaning,autonomy and work impact.The scores of different age,education,department,job,title,income,number of night classes,work motivationwere statistically significant(p<0.05,p<0.01).(3)The total score of job embeddedness clinical nurses was(124.75±16.89),and the average score was(3.37±0.45).The clinical nurses work in each dimension score from high to low,followed by organizational matching,community matching,community sacrifice,organizational sacrifice,organizational link and community link.The scores of different age,marital status,department,nursing age,title,basic income,night shift everyweek,work motivationwere statistically significant(p<0.05,p<0.01).(4)The relationship among nurses’ workplace social capital,empowerment and job embeddedness was significantly positive correlation(p<0.01).Conclusions:The higher the social capital of the clinical nurses in the workplace,the higher the level of empowerment;the higher the level of empowerment of the nurses,the higher the level of job embeddedness of the nurses;the higher the social capital of the nurses’ workplace High,the higher the level of its job embeddedness.
