Objective:To investigate and review the application value of peripheral Gene Expression Scores to coronary artery stenosis degree in Asian population without diabetes.Methods :The in-hospital patients(n=164,male 92,female 72)were chosen from Nov.2015 to Jul.2016.All patients were given examinations of coronary angiography(CAG)or corcoary Computed Tomography and Gene Expression Scores(Lep Care,-30 to 30 scale).Use Spearman correlation coefficient(r)validate the correlation between a peripheral Gene Expression Scores and coronary artery stenosis degree.To evaluate the application value of Lepcare test for obstructive coronary artery disease in Nondiabetes patients.Results:Spearman correlation coefficient validate the GES was significantly correlated with maximum percent stenosis(r=0.70,P<0.001).LepCare tests predicts in patients with coronary artery stenosis degree of 50% or more of ROC curve area(AUC)was 0.893±0.028(95%CI:0.837~0.948,P<0.01).At a score threshold corresponding to 50%obstructive CAD likelihood(6),the sensitivity,pecificity,negative predictive value and positive predictive value were 92.6%,75%,84.0% and 87.7% respectively.In addition,atotal of 72 womens and 64 olders(defined age≥65years)involved in study,obstructive disease was identified in 33 of 72 womens and 53 of 64 olders by CAG or CT.Sensitivity and specificity of GES were 78.7%,100%;89.7%,54.5%;respectively,with NPV and positive predictive value of 83.3%,100%;86.6%,91.3%;respectively.At a score threshold corresponding to exclude obstructive CAD likelihood(-9),the sensitivity,pecificity,negative predictive value and positive predictive value were 99.1%,46.8%,95.6% and 82.3% respectively.Conclusions:1.Gene expression scores,as a new screening methods for early coronary artery disease,has equivalent application value in Asian population.2.Gene expression scores has high senstivity and negative predictive value for obstuctive coronary artery disease in population without diabetes.In addition,GES is most suitable as a rule-out test.
