The Damaging Effect And Possible Mechanism Caused By Timolol Maleate Eye Drops On Comb Vascular Hemangioma Of The Animal Model

objective To investigate the endothelial cell apoptosis and possible mechanism caused by Timolol Maleate Eye Drops combined with Poly cinnamyl alcohol on vascular lesion of cock comb,which is the animal model of Superficial type hemangioma.Methods A total of 30 male chickens were divided into 5 groups randomly.Group E was the control group,Group A were treaded by Timolol.Group B were treaded by Poly cinnamyl alcohol.Group C were treaded by Triamcinolone acetonide.Group D were treaded by Poly cinnamyl alcohol by external Timolol.In the end,the morphology and tissue specimens of combs was observed,the number of capillary vessels was measured and the average number of capillary vessels was calculated.Besides,TUNEL staining was conducted to observed the condition of capillary endothelium apoptosis.Results The color of experimental group comb becomes shallow in varying degrees;deceasing number of capillaries were observed according to histological observation.Compared with the control group E,the difference was statistically significant.Group E with A,B,C,D group compared with capillary number of the apoptosis differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).The apoptosis of capillary endothelium in the control group was lower than that The experimental group(p<0.05).Conclusion Timolol might induce apoptosis of capillary endothelium and affect theappearance of the comb scarcely.The combination therapy of topical timolol and Poly cinnamyl alcohol might damage capillary endothelium and induce apoptosis of capillary endothelium.Therapeutic effect are improved compared to Poly cinnamyl alcohol alone and Accordance with the requirements of the noninvasive treatment of hemangioma,Providing theoretical basis for the non-surgical treatment of hemangioma and treatment reference data.
