Objective:To investigate the correlation between plasma von Willebrand actor(vWF)and the extent of coronary artery lesion in patients with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Methods: The research selects one hundred and thirty patients(STEMI group)who performed coronary angiography(CAG)were divided into three groups: mild group(SYNTAX≤22points,53 patients),moderate group(SYNTAX score 23—32points,36 patients)and severe group(SYNTAX score ≥ 33 points,70patients).Fifty patients with healthy coronary were selected as control group.Blood sample of 180 patients were collected to detect the 1evel of vWF and blood routine, coagulation blood clotting function,C reactive protein(CRP),blood lipids. Then we analyzed the correlation between vWF and the extent of coronary artery lesion. Results: The level of vWF:Ag in peripheral blood of STEMI group was(137.51 ±19.94)%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(96.94±10.02)%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of vWF:Ag in mild group, moderate group and severe group was(123.52±11.25)%,(134.91±14.27)%,(157.87±15.79)%.There was a significant difference between mild group, moderate group and severe group, significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The level of WBC in STEMI group and control group was(8.09±2.75)×1012/L,(6.13±1.58)×1012/L,while the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of CRP in STEMI group and control group was(8.64±3.23)mg/L,(3.66±1.06)mg/L,while the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between STEMI groupand control group about the level of total cholesterol, prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time and platelet was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The higher the severity of coronary artery lesions in STEMI patients, the higher the level of vWF in peripheral blood. Therefore, the level of vWF in peripheral blood can be used as a predictive index for the severity of STEMI patients, which is helpful to evaluate the prognosis of patients and to develop the treatment plan.
