| BackgroundGastroenterpancreatic neuroendocrine tumors(GEP-NETs)are a group of slow, heterogeneous tumors with slow and malignant growth of the intestinal nervous system.Studies have shown that in recent years the incidence of GEP-NENs showed a significant increase in the trend, accounting for about 70% of all neuroendocrine tumors. In the gastrointestinal tract and all parts of the pancreas, the rectum is the main predilection site.Clinical medical workers to increase awareness of the disease, endoscopic detection rate and clinical diagnosis rate was significantly improved in the treatment of a new breakthrough. At present, the study of diagnosis and treatment of rectal neuroendocrine tumors has become a hot topic both at home and abroad.ObjeictIn this study,We focused on the clinical features, pathological features, prognosis and other of 84 cases of rectal neuroendocrine tumors in our hospital,in order to improve the understanding of the disease and the level of its diagnosis and treatment.MethodsThe clinical data of 84 patients with rectal neuroendocrine tumors diagnosed by endoscopic tissue biopsy or surgical pathology were collected from April 2012 to April 2015.The sex, age,Clinical manifestations, tumor diameter, location, depth of invasion, pathological grade, staging, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS19.0 statistical software.Statistical data were used to represent the mean ± standard deviation(`x ± s).The data were analyzed by χ2 test. The follow-up time was used to analyze the data.(Minimum to maximum);overall survival analysis using Kaplan-Meier method to assess the survival of patients in the follow-up period of the situation.Results(1)Rectal neuroendocrine tumors were more common in women than in women, more than 40 years old patients, accounting for 91.7%(77/84),clinical manifestations of non-specific,easy to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis.(2)There was no significant difference in sex, age, pathogenesis, chromatin granule protein(CgA)and neuron-specific enolase(NSE)in different pathological grade of rectal neuroendocrine tumors(P> 0.05).There was significant difference between tumor diameter, depth of invasion,TNM staging and lymph node metastasis(P< 0.05).(3)The overall survival rate was assessed by Kaplan-Meier method: the overall survival rate of rectal neuroendocrine tumors was 95.1%,the incidence of metastasis was low and the prognosis was better.ConclusionsRectal neuroendocrine neoplasms are a rare, clinically unsatisfactory low-grade malignancy;definite diagnosis requires pathologic examination, especially immunohistochemical assistance;surgical treatment, including endoscopic treatment is still the preferred way to cure;overall survival High rate of prognosis, tumor diameter, depth of invasion, pathological grade, staging, treatment options may be the main factors affecting the prognosis. |
